Purple is, well, purple but it also contains some more unique design elements. The wrap around header and sidebar give the page a more unified appearance that looks less like the result of blogging software and more like a product of desktop publishing software. The encapsulation of comments and ‘email this post’ functions into buttons only enhances this perception. Â
