Freedom theme for Wordpress. Freedom is a two column Wordpress theme with a left-hand sidebar. Freedom has a sunset-red background with a silhouette of the Statue of Liberty in the footer. Great theme for any patriotic US citizen and for New York bloggers. This theme has a widget enabled sidebar and is compatible with Wordpress 2.1 “Ella”, the latest release.

With sincere respect for an excellent theme, I’d like to correct an all too common error. The Statue of Liberty is NOT in New York. A look at a map that shows the boundaries of states will reveal that it is actually in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The island on which it sits is less than 2000 feet from JC shoreline but more than a mile from Manhattan.
